About Us
The Kellogg-Recanati Entrepreneurship Community (KREC) brings together a diverse network of entrepreneurs, industry professionals and managers to assist early stage ventures plan, execute and grow. KREC provides promising startups access to a wealth of diverse business experience, opening channels for thinking, learning, networking, funding and global sales & marketing that may otherwise be unattainable.
The program sponsors bi-monthly presentation forums in which applicants pitch their prototypes. KREC Mentors – selected for their outstanding entrepreneurial and management skills and coaching abilities – each choose and nurture a startup to help maximize its potential early on. Mentors provide personalized one-on-one consulting in forming solid business plans and pitches. In addition, workshops for the community of entrepreneurs feature talks by industry experts from a broad array of relevant fields and enable cross-fertilization of ideas and experience and further guidance from experienced Steering Committee members. Finally, KREC sponsors two major funding events a year, granting selected entrepreneurs a pitch to an audience of VCs, angels, business leaders and faculty members.
Yet beyond the official program components, KREC’s exclusive status within the leading inner circle of Israeli and international startups, its connection to Kellogg-Recanati’s diverse and globally successful alumni community and and the keen interest of early-stage investors make the program uniquely valuable to entrepreneurs.

Orit Mendelson Shoham – Director of Executive MBA Programs
at the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration
"Seeing the fruits of the Kellogg-Recanati Entrepreneurship Community gives me a great pleasure. Alumni Adina Enden and Oded Caspi, my partners on the Steering Committee, first came up with the idea of KREC, which seemed like a natural evolvement of our network. Graduates who have completed our program around ten years ago and have since then gained a lot of experience have decided to contribute their energy, time and profound know-how to support the KR Entrepreneurship Community. The team of Mentors they have recruited to work with them represents the best and most experienced of our graduates.
With a growing number of entrepreneurs among the KR students and graduates, I am certain that this initiative will bring a lot of added value to our community."
